What can PADI Divemaster's do?

As a PADI Dive Master you can Work at local dive centers, on live-aboard dive boats, yachts and at exotic resort locations. You can Assist PADI Instructors with students, Lead PADI Scuba Divers on guided dive tours, teach and certify PADI Skin Divers, teach PADI Discover Snorkeling programs, conduct PADI Scuba Review programs for certified divers. You can also lead certified divers on Discover Local Diving experiences
Finally you can teach Emergency First Response programs after successful completion of an Emergency First Response Instructor course.

Who can do the course?

You must be a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver or qualifying certification from another training organization you must also be a PADI Rescue Diver certification or qualifying certification from another training organization.
Medical clearance signed by a physician
A minimum of 20 logged dives. You must have 60 logged dives or more before certification as a Divemaster.
18 years old

What do I need?

At this stage in your diving career you should have your own dive equipment. Don't forget that we supply Mares Dive Equipment. However, if you do not have your own equipment we can arrange for use of our own school equipment. We encourage our divemaster's to have their own equipment. As a Trainee professional you should at this stage be familiar with your dive equipment.

How long will it take?

The course can take up to 3 months to complete. The course also includes some apprenticeship training with an Instructor.

How much does this cost?

The Dive Master Course costs €850.
